Parent volunteers are essential to the success of the programs and events at Cherry Crest. The PTSA always welcomes and looks forward to having additional volunteers. We have positions and tasks to fit all schedules and interests. Just let us know whether a program, event, or activity interests you and when you might be free to help. The full list of our committees can be found in the PTSA directory page so if there is any specific committee you want to help with, please reach out to

Passport Club Checkpoint Volunteers:

Passport Club is a parent-driven activity thus we count on your support to enrich students' understanding of World Geography. The monthly checkpoint day is usually the last Monday of the month. At the checkpoint, parent volunteers ask the students to locate the countries pertaining to their level for that month on a blank world map. Students will then receive stamps in their passports for those countries. Please help us in making Passport Club a success and a memorable experience for our students by signing up to volunteer at the checkpoints. Additional details related to the testing and volunteer duties will be provided at the checkpoint. For questions contact:

Library Volunteers:

Please signup for the times when you are available to help in the library. Arrive 5 minutes before the class time to help with book returns and an overlap between volunteers. We are hoping for two volunteers for each class, but this is particularly important for the kindergarten and 1st grade classes. If you are available to stay for several classes in a row, please do! Thanks for your help!
